For most until we have suffered much, we do not learn the lessons of life.

अधिकतर लोग जब तक बहुत अधिक कष्ट नहीं झेल लेते, तब तक हम जीवन  के सबक नहीं सीखते।

The Hammer of God. भगवान का हथौड़ा।

The hard hearted man is softened by suffering, like a hammer from God.

Suffering detaches us from possession, position, people, the things of this world, and so it frees us to attach ourselves to the Spiritual things.

कठोर हृदय मनुष्य दुःख से कोमल हो जाता है, जब भगवान का हथौड़े पड़ता है।

दुःख हमें वस्तु, व्यक्ति, पद/ प्रतिष्ठा, इस संसार की चीज़ों से विरक्त करता है, और इस प्रकार यह हमें आध्यात्मिक चीज़ों से जुड़ने के लिए स्वतंत्र करता है।
